REACH and Ecotoxicological Tests

The ecotoxicological laboratory at DHI performs tests in accordance with ISO 17025, accredited by DANAK (the Danish Accreditation and Metrology Fund) and in compliance with the OECD Principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).

With REACH, manufacturers and importers must document the safe manufacture and use of their chemical substances. This documentation shall address both human health and environmental risks. DHI offers the relevant ecotoxicological tests required by REACH and listed in Annex VII-X in addition to tailor-made studies designed to suit special needs of our clients.

We collaborate with laboratories conducting studies of physico-chemical properties and toxicology. Thus, we offer to serve as project manager of joint studies in collaboration with sub-contractors.

The test requirements by REACH depend on the quantities of substance manufactured or imported per year. The requirements to ecotoxicological tests are indicated below.
